Global Low Cost Country (LCC) sourcing with Domestic Support

Our Xuzhou upgrade and testing facility supplies high quality lower cost components brought in through our Tacoma port operations.

Our story starts much earlier than the culmination of facilities in 2003 as AmeriCast Technologies (2008 - now Bradken), but began over 135 years ago in Atchison, KS and over 109 years ago in Tacoma, WA. Our facilities have been family owned and nurtured as in the case of A.G. Anderson & London Precision Machine as well as corporately formed and grown in the case of Amite Foundry & Machining.

In 2003 the KPS Fund identified an opportunity to invest and purchase Atchison Casting & Machining, Amite Casting & Machining, London Precision Machine & Tool, and AmeriCast Global Services to form AmeriCast Technologies. Under the leadership of the current management team, AmeriCast provides experience and stability.

The successful emergence of AmeriCast Technologies became highly recognized by the investment community leading to the purchase of AmeriCast by Castle Harlan in 2006. Having experience & success in foundry group ownership, Castle Harlan saw an opportunity to further develop our hedge hog concept: “to be the supplier and employer of choice providing high value-added, large, complex, mission critical steel castings and to sell that value to the customer.”

We are proudly a Bradken company.
